FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why Petal and Grain Co?
At Petal & Grain Co we create floral and event flowers specifically designed to fit your unique style and budget. Every arrangement is a creative expression to represent your individual personality. Every wedding tells a story of two people and their journey together. Every couple deserves the opportunity to express and celebrate in a way that is unique to them.
How does pricing work?
All pricing is simple and straight forward. We charge per arrangement. They are first priced based on the size, type of flowers, and estimated number of stems needed to complete the arrangement. One these factors have been accounted for, then the amount of time needed for completion will be factored into the final price.
Does seasonality affect my floral options?
Unfortunately all flowers are not available all year around. Most flowers are available between April and August. One of our main priorities is to always select the freshest flowers possible. Therefore, I will always do my best to accommodate a beautiful substitute if your desired flowers should not be available on your special day.
I have no floral budget. Where do I need to start?
Wedding budgets are very personalized to each individual couple. Therefore, each one is very unique. We recommend first setting an overall budget for your entire wedding. From there, set aside around 15% for florals. This is what couples typically spend on wedding arrangements; however, each couple and ceremony is different. Therefore, one of my main priorities is working to your specific budget for your special day!
My floral budget is limited. What would you recommend to focus on?
The bridal bouquet is the single most photographed arrangement at any wedding; therefore, I highly recommend not skimping out on your bouquet. Next, I would focus on arrangements that are front and center. This could be altar arrangements, arbor flowers, bridesmaid’s bouquets, garland, etc.
What form of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, card, check, Venmo and PayPal. After your booking/save the date deposit, your remaining balance is not due until 30 days prior to your wedding date.
